Preschool Songs

That Preschoolers Adore

The preschool songs program Hi 5 is a big hit in my household

The preschool songs program Hi 5 is a big hit in my household. Have youever just look at your kids when Hi 5 is on the Telly. They aremesmorised! Glued to the screen. Now that is what I call kids entertainment. Not even to mention programs such as Little Einstein's. The classical music is enough to make me become a big fan of that type of music. Then of course there is Boogie Beebies. Wow, that makes them exercise their whole little bodies in just a few minutes.

Yes, preschool songs provide children with many skills. They get to develop their large and small motor skills. It improves their balance and coordination while they hop around the floor on the rhythm of the music. See, another skill - learning about rhythm. There are also many ways of introducing preschool music to young children.

Whenyou have a playgroup or more than one child, they get to participate in a group which assist in developing their social skills. They get to express moods and show feelings with the different preschool songs. I've found some preschool songs that were written by Jean Warren. All the songs are songs that you can use when introducing someone or just to have fun with their names. All you need to do is count how many letters are in your preschoolers name and then adjust the song accordingly:

 Three Letter Song

 Tune:  "Three Blind Mice"

A-M-Y
A-M-Y
She's my friend
That's no lie.
She tries to help me when she can.
She always lends a helping hand.
She's by far my biggest fan.
A-M-Y
She's my friend.

 Four Letter Song

Tune:  "Old MacDonald"

M-A-R-Y is her name.
She is lots of fun.
She -likes to play outside.
In the rain or sun.

Mary, Mary is her name.
She is nice and kind.
She is the very best
Friend that you could find.

 Five Letter Song

Tune:  "Row, Row, Row Your Boat"

E-R-N-I-E
Is a friend of mine.
I can count on him
All of the time.

 Six Letter Song

Tune:  "Eensy Weensy Spider"

S-H-A-R-O-N
Is a friend of mine.
She likes to smile a lot.
And she's very kind.

When she wants to share,
She always thinks of me.
S-H-A-R-O-N
The best friend you could find.

Seven Letter Song

Tune: "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"

A-L-L-I-S-O-N
What a great friend you are.
Up above all the rest,
'Cause you share, you're the best.
A-L-L-I-S-O-N
You're the best, a number ten!

Eight Letter Song

Tune:  "She'll Be Coming 'Round The Mountain"

M-A-R-Y  J-A-N-E is her name.
M-A-R-Y  J-A-N-E is her name.
She is always lots of fun.
She's a friend of everyone.
M-A-R-Y  J-A-N-E is her name

If you have a boy like mine, you realise that they also get to know the words of the preschool songs in a very short time. Increasing and refining their listening skills. They sing andpretend to play music and sometimes even compose their own melodies and lyrics. Now who said that preschool music is boring!

There are many preschool songs available today. On the internet, DVD and if you have a techno junkie like I have, even on his MP4 player. Yes mommy or daddy - they are small but they live in this century!  We can't keep it away from them.Obviously there are limits. If you get tired of all the singing and dancing, let them do some quiet preschool activities.

Use preschool activities with preschool songs and see how your kids flourish!

Earn A Few Extra Dollars - Whilst Teaching Your Own Children?

Start A Preschool (Not a Daycare) and Make Money At Home With Your Children

Things are pretty tough financially at the moment for many of us. So I just wanted to mention my friend Joy Anderson and her solution.

Joy is a single mom with 3 kids - she wanted to stay at home and look after them but desperately needed an income. So what did she do.

She started her own Preschool Classes, right out of her own home.

Joy is now making a full-time income only working 5 hrs a day.

She is an amazing lady and now she is showing others how to do it for themselves.

You can find out about how she set up her own preschool here.
